PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device in which read accuracy of a machine readable code by a machine is not reduced. SOLUTION: An image processing device 3 has a dividing portion 23 dividing inputted additional information into a predetermined data length, a code image generating portion 26 for generating a plurality of machine readable code images based on the additional information divided by the dividing portion 23, and a code image arranging portion 27 determining an arrangement of a plurality of machine readable code images generated by the code image generating portion 26. Also, the code image arranging portion 27 determines the arrangement of the machine readable code image in consideration of a document image from a document image generating portion 12.
