PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-receiving element capable of selectively receiving only an optical signal of a long wavelength from among optical signals in which short wavelengths and long wavelengths coexist. SOLUTION: An optical filter 103 is formed by combining a first semiconductor layer 107 which selectively absorbs only a short wavelength, a second semiconductor layer 108 which absorbs light which is emitted and recombined by the first semiconductor layer 107, and the third semiconductor layer 109 for emitting and extinguishing a carrier generated by the first semiconductor layer 107 and the second semiconductor layer 108.
