PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the construction of an electric wave environment simulation signal generating device to be used for measuring the function of a radar. SOLUTION: The electric wave environment simulation signal generating device for generating a simulation reflection signal based on specification parameters of electric wave environment and transmitting it to a radar (a test radar) 2 comprises a transmitting/receiving antenna 15a for receiving a radar waves from the radar 2 and a high frequency continuous signal generating circuit 16 for generating a coherent high frequency continuous signal in the radar waves with delay synthesis. A level detector 18 measures the received signal level of a received transmission pulse signal, corrects the signal level of a simulated environment signal based on the specification parameters of the electric wave environment generated by a simulated signal generator 19 and synthesize it with the high frequency continuous signal. Thus, the electric wave environment simulated reflection signal is easily generated and delivered in simple construction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
