PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation system that is convenient, has a simple structure, and can reduce construction cost. SOLUTION: In the transportation system, a vehicle 3 makes a round trip between stations 2 provided on a single line track 1. The single line track 1 comprises: an acceleration zone A where the vehicle 3 is accelerated by a track fixing type drive apparatus; and a self-propelled zone B where the vehicle 3 that is accelerated in the acceleration zone A is self-propelled.
