PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of on-site working by enabling easy mounting between opposed wall surfaces of a load-carrying platform with easy length adjustment. SOLUTION: A cargo movement preventing device 10 is provided for preventing loaded cargo W from moving on a container C by laying the device between side wall surfaces C1 in a width direction of the container C of a transport vehicle and partitioning loading space of the container C. The device comprises a partition beam 20 laid between the side wall surfaces C1, a slide metal fitting 30 appearing from at least one end surface of the partition beam 20, a sphere 53 energized by a coil spring 52 for detachably locking a condition where the slide metal fitting 30 is sunk at the maximum sinking position, and an engaging/disengaging structure composed of a through hole 24c formed on the partition beam 20 into which the sphere 53 is fit and a cylindrical body 62 extracting the sphere 53 from the through hole 24c.
