The invention concerns a method and a system for collecting postlarval sea animals, in particular from coral reefs, and for multiple-species breeding of said individuals until they reach marketable size for aquarophilia. The inventive method is essentially characterized in that it consists in: a) collecting in marine environment with luminous traps (1) adapted and designed to collect only postlarvae; b) onboard storage in large capacity isothermal boxes (2), adapted to maintain temperature, darkness and dissolved oxygen required for the survival of the stored individuals; c) sorting, at the breeding station, in shallow and wide tanks (3), by placing the individuals of same species in translucent small volume containers (4); separation by placing creatures of the same species in medium volume translucent aquariums (5); e) growth in very large volume circular tanks (6), adapted to receive refill water vertically. |
