The assembly has a housing (12), a contact pressure plate (14) connected to it via a coupling unit for common turning about an axis (A), and a power application device (18). This is pref. an energy accumulator, supported relative to housing and plate, and moveable in peripheral direction relative to the housing. The energy accumulator is supported relative to the housing via carrier bolts (20), and relative to housing and/or bolts via a bearing unit (60) with slide bearing (62). This has a section (22,24) friction-reducing surface, formed by a suitable material, or coating or hardening.
