PURPOSE: A start limiting device of a vehicle is provided to prevent accidents by repressing starting of the vehicle by constraining movements of a gear shift lever and a parking brake lever when one child gets on the vehicle alone with starting an engine. CONSTITUTION: A start limiting device of a vehicle is composed of a gear shift lever(4) attached with a stopper(10) to change the speed with rectilinearly moving about a hinge(6) along a shift groove(8); locking levers(12,12') compressed by coil springs(14,14') and selectively engaged with the gear shift lever; first actuators(20,20') for embedding first pistons(26,26') pulled by the first springs and combined with the locking levers and first electromagnets(22,22') for pressurizing the first pistons; a parking brake lever(42) for moving about a movable pin(44), pulling a parking cable(48), and having an extension rod(46) at the lower part and a cylinder unit(40) formed at the upper part to embed a release button(50) by a pressurizing spring(52); a second electromagnet(62) disposed in the cylinder unit of the parking brake lever and pressurized by the second spring to contact a second piston(54) to a contact terminal(60) in applying an electric current; a third actuator(64) for embedding a third electromagnet(70) and a plunger(66) pressurized by a third spring(68) and lifted upward in applying the electric current to constrain the movement of the extension rod forming the lower end of the parking brake lever; and an operation switch(30) for supplying electricity of a battery(34) through a power transistor(28) to first and second electromagnets.
