PURPOSE: A method for inputting a Korean alphabet of a mobile communication terminal is provided to input number keys in character order, and to distinguish a firstly starting number key into consonants and vowels, thereby enabling a user to input the Korean alphabet as bringing up an image of the Korean alphabet. CONSTITUTION: A system of a mobile communication terminal inputs number keys located on a center of consonant and vowel strokes in character order on a number key matrix, and distinguishes a firstly starting number key of the character order into consonants and vowels. An order of inputting number keys of the consonants is set on the basis of left/right sides of the number key matrix. An order of inputting number keys of the vowels is set on the basis of lower/right sides of the number key matrix.
