<p>The wheel bearing unit has a wheel bearing arranged in a pivot bearing and an accommodated link shaft, which with a link bell is opposite to an accommodation component of the pivot bearing. The directly opposing areas (A,B) of the accommodation component (2a) and the link bell (4) have a thickness reduction and a self-forming ring gap (b) between the accommodation component and the link bell is bridged over by a sealing ring (8) pressed onto the link shaft (5). The sealing ring is held with a leg (8a) on the link shaft and locates tightly with its other turned away end (8b) on the link bell, whereby an intermediate area is angled and with one edge (12) is tightly positioned opposite to the accommodation component of the pivot bearing.</p> |
