Implant for correcting a deformity in the spinal column

The implant has a wedge or acute-angled isosceles trapeze shaped configuration. An area opposite shorter base or opposite to vertex is a rounded pyramid-like surface. Upper and lower surfaces of the trapeze include fins (1, 2) to vertebral plates of vertebrae. The fins are protuberances capable of penetrating into vertebral mass through surface of the plates. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an increase in vertebral spine curvature.
