The method involves placing an electroluminescent light-emitting or EL arrangement and a color conversion filter in an environment with controlled water, oxygen concentration, applying peripheral sealing and filler materials, transferring to a vacuum chamber, evacuating, pre-orienting, joining, placing in an environment with controlled water, oxygen concentration at atmospheric pressure, irradiating with ultraviolet to harden the sealing material. The method involves bringing an electroluminescent light-emitting arrangement and a color conversion filter into an environment in which the concentration of water and oxygen is controlled, applying a peripheral sealing material around the filter, applying a filler material over the filter layer and inside the sealing material, transferring the electroluminescent light-emitting arrangement and color conversion filter to a vacuum chamber, evacuating the chamber, pre-orienting the electroluminescent light-emitting arrangement and color conversion filter and joining them to make a unit, placing the unit in an environment in which the concentration of water and oxygen is controlled at atmospheric pressure and irradiating the unit with ultraviolet radiation to harden the sealing material.
