摘要

Lithium secondary cell comprises cell element including a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte containing a non-aqueous solvent and a solute, and a variable-shape case which houses the cell element. The difference (Esol(A) - Esol(N)) of enthalpy Esol(A) of the anion radical produced by giving 1 electron to the neutral molecule and the enthalpy Esol(N) of the neutral molecule of the non-aqueous solvent is made delta Esol(AN), determined by a restricted Hartley-Fock molecular orbital method using 6-31G*base function. When the cell element contains an additive alpha , the difference (Eadd(A) - Eadd(N)) of the enthalpy of the anion radical Eadd(A) generated by adding 1 electron to the neutral molecule and the enthalpy Eadd(N) of the neutral molecule of the additive alpha , is made delta Eadd(AN). The value delta Eadd(AN) is smaller than delta Esol(AN).
