The connector has a blocking component with a shutter plate (77) blocking or shading an optical axis. The component has an elastic portion for normally biasing the plate to a closed portion. The plate is pivoting between a position blocking the axis and a position to which the plate is forced to move by another connector when the latter connector is inserted into the former connector.
