The method involves displaying window areas (21-23,25) on the visual display screen, detecting a user input to select one of the window areas in a controller and activating the selected window area via the controller so that the activated window area (22) is displayed on a visual display screen foreground. The controller continuously determines which window area is activated and checks for associated user inputs. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a computer device with a visual display screen for displaying several window areas.
