SYSTEM FOR SUPPLYING IMAGE INFORMATION FOR BOTH SIDES AND REAR SIDE OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A system for supplying image information for both sides and rear side of a vehicle is provided to prevent passengers on rear seats from having car accidents by a rear vehicle in getting off the vehicle by checking states for both sides and rear side of the vehicle before the passengers get off the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A system for supplying image information for both sides and rear side of a vehicle(1) is composed of a photographing device(2) installed toward both sides and rear side of the vehicle; an A/V(Audio/Video) device for converting images captured by the photographing device into an electrical signal; a monitor for converting the electrical signal applied from the A/V device into an image signal and displaying the image signal as images; a speed sensor for sensing if the vehicle travels; a door sensor mounted to a door knob or a door opening and shutting lever to sense if a door is opened or shut by passengers; and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) for controlling operations of the A/V device to the traveling or non-traveling state of the vehicle applied from the speed sensor. The ECU displays various images through the monitor by controlling the A/V device if the vehicle travels and displays images for the sides and rear side of the vehicle captured by the photographing device through the monitor in parking and stopping by controlling the A/V device and operating the photographing device when the door opening and shutting moment is detected by the door sensor.
