RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DEVICE FOR GUARANTEEING MINIMUM BANDWIDTH

PURPOSE: A device for managing resources is provided to guarantee each bus master the minimum bandwidth for access to the shared resources and reduce latency when each bus master accesses the shared resources. CONSTITUTION: A bus arbiter(117) arbitrates an access quantity to the shared resources(119) from the buses(112-114). For an arbitrating process in the bus arbiter, an arbitration information manager(121) manages a bus priority, and an access priority pattern for securing an access bandwidth to the shared resources from the buses as bus arbitration information(116). A resource controller(118) controls the access to the shared resource from the bus obtaining an access authority from the bus arbiter based on a feature of the shared resource.
