PURPOSE: A method and a system for a blog service minimizing network load by using a common data module are provided to minimize the network load by reducing a transmission data volume for a blog server with the common data module, and improve a speed of the client/server based blog service remarkably by applying a P2P(Peer-to-Peer) method to the blog service. CONSTITUTION: A blog information database(710) records the file information for item data included in a blog page of the first and the second user. An interface(720) performs data communication with the first and the second user. A common data module transmitter(740) transmits the common data module to the first and the second user. A file controller(750) transmits file information for the blog page of the first user to the second user by referring to common item data used for the blog page if a request to access the blog page of the first user is received from the second user. An additional module transmitter(730) searches the blog information database by matching with an item data download request transmitted from the second user and transmits the searched item data to the second user.
