PURPOSE: An ink supply system, an inkjet printer, an ink container, an ink refill container and an inkjet cartridge are provided to discharge gas to the ink supply system quickly and actively in supplying ink from the ink container to the ink refill container intermittently through the connecting part. CONSTITUTION: A first ink tank(51) is connected to or separated from a second ink tank(125) by a supply unit(31) and a connector(11). Two communication passages are formed by tubes(12,13) to connect the first ink tank to the second ink tank. Gas from the second ink tank is discharged from one of the communication passages, and ink from the first ink tank is supplied to the second ink tank via the other communication passage.
