PURPOSE: A corner forming method of a deflection yoke is provided to minimize a leakage of a magnetic field by removing a crevice and to improve a close adherence of a horizontal deflection coil. CONSTITUTION: A corner forming method of a deflection yoke comprises a following process. A central point(0) of a deflection yoke is standard, an oblique line having a predetermined slope from an arbitrary point(X1,Y1) of X, Y axis is drawn and each meeting point(XY1) is decided. A point(SY1,SX1) having a same spacing from the point(XY1) to X,Y axis direction is decided, and is connected with a straight line. A circle(S1) is drawn according to a radius(R1) having a range from the straight line to the central point. A section(SY1,SX1) is adjacent between the oblique line of the X,Y axis and the circle(S1), is formed on a corner of the deflection yoke.
