PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a water-dispersed recording liquid for an ink jet recording excellent in water resistance and transparency and good in jetting stability at a nozzle. SOLUTION: The method for preparing a water-dispersed recording liquid for ink jet recording comprises the following steps (a) to (d): a step (a) for micronizing an organic pigment (A) by mechanically kneading a mixture comprising at least three components, the organic pigment (A), a water-soluble inorganic salt (B) and a water-soluble solvent (C), a step (b) for obtaining an aqueous dispersion of the organic pigment (A) having an average particle size of 10-150 nm (a measured value by a laser scattering method) by washing out the water- soluble inorganic salt (B) and the watersoluble solvent (C) from the mixture containing the micronized organic pigment (A), a step (c) for adding a water- based resin to the aqueous dispersion and dispersing it, and a step (d) for diluting the resultant dispersion by adding water and an additive and filtering it with a filter having a pore size of 3 μm or less. |
