A tangent-switch (10) with a built-in signal light (12), which is powered through power terminals (16, 18) in the switch (10). So that the signal light can work optionally with lead lights or show a toilet as occupied, a programmable light signal power supply unit (20) is mounted between the switch (10) and a light tangent (14).
