<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deliver or convey an article of easily rolling shape from a front stage unit without rolling to detect the metal of the article. SOLUTION: A conveying mechanism 23 is provided on a suporposed position on a belt at the side position of a discharge end 54a of a discharge mechanism of a front stage unit. A conveying roller 30 of the mechanism 23 is regulated to the same position as a height position of he end 54a. An article is conveyed without head, and transferred to a conveying belt 4. The article conveyed on the belt 4 is metal-detected at the part of a detecting head 25 on the way, and discharged onto an article storage plate continued at the position of a discharge end 4b without rotating. The plate has a length corresponding to number of articles desired to be stored, and its other end is tiltable down. The article coming later can push a plurality of articles already stored by the tilting.</p> |
