PURPOSE: To obtain a resin particle constituted with a core material consisting of polymer particles immobilized with inorganic fine particles thereon, and useful for FRP molded forms good in low shrinkability and cracking resistance without bringing about a lowering in their boiling water resistance, transparency, colorability and mechanical strength, etc. CONSTITUTION: This resin particle is constituted with (A) the core material consisting of a polymer particle immobilized with (B) inorganic fine particles each having an average diameter 1/10 to 1/1000 times that of the component A. Besides, (C) an alkylsilane compound and/or (D) a coupling agent is bound to the component B. It is preferable that the average particle diameters of the components A and B be 10-100μm and 0.01-10μm, respectively. The component A is pref. e.g. a crosslinked polystyrene particle, while the component B is pref. e.g. made of glass. The components C and D are each pref. e.g. a silane coupling agent such as n-propyltrimethoxysilane and vinyltrimethoxysilane, respectively. |
