PURPOSE: To obtain an efficient motor drive control circuit in which current consumption of a motor can be reduced totally. CONSTITUTION: The motor drive control circuit comprises a resistor R1 and a first transistor Q1 connected in series between the positive terminal t1 of a power supply and the coil of a motor, and a second transistor Q2 for controlling the base current I1b of the first transistor Q1 depending on the current detected by means of the resistor R1 and controls current supply to the motor constantly. A circuit DIC for controlling the conducting state of the coil periodically and a Hall element HE for detecting the rotational position of the motor are connected in parallel between the base of the first transistor Q1 and the negative terminal t2 of power supply. |
