A two-component foam system for preparation of building foams with a polyol component, catalyst for polyol-polyisocyanate reaction, water and/or compressed gaseous or liquid propellant, and polyisocyanate component, where the weight ratio of polyol to polyisocyanate is such that the mole ratio of isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate to the polyol OH groups is preferably 1:1 to 2:1, and the system contains an aqueous polymer dispersion is new.
