PURPOSE: Provided is a catalyst-coated membrane for a fuel cell, which has improved mechanical stability and protecting property against damages on the membrane, and shows improved operating property in a battery/stack assembly. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst-coated membrane comprises: (a) an ionomer membrane(1) including two surfaces composed of (i) an active portion coated with a catalyst layer and (ii) a non-active portion, and (b) at least one protective film layer(3) attached to each of two surfaces of the catalyst-coated membrane so as to be overlapped with the active portion and the non-active portion. Particularly, the non-active part forms a perimeter surrounding the active portion. |
