PURPOSE: A method for displaying time information of a cellular phone is provided to receive time information on other party's terminal from a base station during a call setup when time differences are generated in each region within the same country, and to display the time information with self time information, thereby enabling a user to previously confirm current time and date of a place where the other party is located. CONSTITUTION: A receiver terminal performs a location registration process in a base station, and a VLR and an HLR execute updating processes. When an originator terminal requests a call setup to the base station, the base station transmits time information on other party's terminal to the receiver terminal and the originator terminal by using an SMS(Short Message Service). Each of the terminals displays the time information on the other party's terminal transmitted from the base station. When transmitting the time information on the other party's terminal, time information on the originator terminal is transmitted with the time information while the HLR transmits a call setup request signal to the base station. |
