PURPOSE: A method for a contents service of a multi-step distributing/sharing method on the NGN(New Generation Network) and a recording medium for the same are provided to make a contents user receive the contents service from other contents user as well as a CP(Contents Provider), and certify/charge the contents user receiving the contents service from other contents user. CONSTITUTION: An application server certifies a service use right of a subscriber terminal user(S204). The application server transmits the available contents list information to a certified subscriber terminal(S205). If the subscriber terminal inputs a contents selection message, the application server transmits a list of the contents server and the previous service subscriber terminals to service the selected contents(S211). If the subscriber terminal inputs a download target selection message, the application server makes the contents downloaded to the subscriber terminal from a download target by transferring the connection with the subscriber terminal to the download target(S213). After the download, the contents use rate is charged based on the download target(S219).
