PURPOSE: An electronic mail server system is provided to display, in the form of character or image data, the electronic mail transmitted from the sender terminal on the receiver terminal. CONSTITUTION: An electronic mail server system(31) comprises a control unit(310), a storing unit(320), and a controller(330). The storing unit includes a user database(321), a mail database(322), a font file(323), an image database(324), a translation dictionary database(325), and a code conversion table(326) for converting Roman characters into specific languages including Japanese or Chinese. The control unit includes a language translation part(311) for translating the character data on the electronic mail into predetermined language characters; an image converting part(312) for converting the character data translated by the language translation part into image data; an electronic mail recording part(313) for recording the content of the electronic mail, the translated character data, and the image data to the mail database; an electronic mail access information transmitting part(315) for transmitting mail access information to a predetermined electronic mail address; and an electronic mail display part(316) for permitting a user to read the content of mail recorded in the electronic mail database, the translated character data, and the image data converted by the image converting part. |
