摘要 PURPOSE: A hydraulic control device of a belt type continuously variable transmission is provided to reduce load of the engine at high temperature of oil by calculating the proper amount of lubricant according to travel condition and by restricting the unnecessary amount of lubricant. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic control device is composed of an oil temperature sensor(11) detecting oil temperature of a belt type continuously variable transmission(3), an input torque detecting unit measuring input torque of the belt type continuously variable transmission, and an oil pump control unit having a required oil amount calculation unit calculating the required amount of belt lubricant based on the calculated required oil amount, an rpm setting unit setting the lowest rpm of an oil pump(8) and an rpm control unit controlling rpm of the oil pump according to the predetermined minimum rpm. A CVT control unit(9) calculates the input torque according to the throttle opening degree from a throttle opening degree sensor(10) in measuring oil temperature over the predetermined value, and calculates the pulley ratio according to primary pulley rpm and secondary pulley rpm from primary and second rpm sensors(4,5). The required amount of lubricant is calculated based on the input torque, primary pulley rpm and the pulley ratio, and the discharge amount of the oil pump is set based on the calculated required oil amount.
