PLASTIC OPTICAL CABLE CONNECTOR

PURPOSE: A plastic optical cable connector is provided to secure the accuracy of the connection by applying the floating connection type to the optical connector, thereby reducing the assembly time. CONSTITUTION: A plastic optical cable connector includes an optical plug(10) and an adaptor. The optical plug(10) is provided with a ferrule(30), a plug body(20), a boot(60), a spring and a stopper. The plug body(20) receives the ferrule(30), the spring and the stopper into its inner space. The spring supports the ferrule(30) and prevent it from being moved. And, the adaptor is coupled to the optical plug(10) by forming the sleeve which aligns the ferrule(30) of the optical plug(10) during the connection. The connection state between the optical plug(10) and the adaptor is maintained by connecting the key to the corresponding groove.
