PURPOSE: A rotatable button, a remote controller, and a method for controlling a remote controller are provided to achieve improved user convenience, while reducing manufacturing procedures and costs. CONSTITUTION: A rotatable button comprises a rotatable body(10); a protrusion(20) protruded from the eccentric portions of both sides of the rotatable body; a button body(30) including an upper case(31) having a rotatable body exposing hole(31a) for permitting the top surface of the rotatable body to be exposed, and a lower case(32) coupled to the bottom of the upper case, wherein the lower case has a rotatable body mounting space(32a); a support unit(40) interposed between the bottom of the rotatable body and the bottom of the rotatable body mounting space so as to support the rotatable body in an upward direction; and a function button(50) arranged at both sides of the bottom of the rotatable body mounting space in such a manner that the function button selectively operates by the protrusion.
