<p>When a mobile station of a cellular mobile communications network is capable of receiving downlink signals from a plurality of base transceiver stations, the network determines a selected base transceiver station from among the plurality of base transceiver stations, so as to prevent a non-selected base transceiver station other than the selected base transceiver station from transmitting a subsequent downlink signal to the mobile station.
