PRESSING TYPE DIE CASTING APPARATUS AND DIE CASTING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A pressing type die casting apparatus is provided which uniforms solidification structure of the metal by solidifying the metal in the state that a cast-iron product is molded in a metallic pattern shape after injecting molten metal into a metallic pattern, thereby substantially reducing porosity of a die casting article, and a die casting method using the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a die casting apparatus(100) for fabricating a cast-iron product in a shape of an inner part of the metallic pattern through solidification of the metal by injecting molten metal into a metallic pattern (mold), the pressing type die casting apparatus is characterized in that the metallic pattern comprises any one die (upper die(110) or lower die(110a)) fixed to one side of die casting machine; another die (lower die or upper die) installed at the die casting machine at a position oppositely directed to the fixed any one die in such a way that the another die is vertically moved by plungers(130,130a) so that the another die is moved in a direction of the fixed die to pressurize molten metal that is in the solidification state before molten metal injected between the fixed any one die and the another die is solidified; and a die cover(120) which is vertically movably installed through the plungers for the fixed any one die as the another die vertically movably installed, and in which an inner space is formed so that the another die vertically movably installed is vertically guided and moved in the inner space.
