PURPOSE: A dangerous vehicle search system using a mobile communication terminal and its method are provided to simplify input step of vehicle information and to minimize input time of vehicle information under an emergency. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(10) comprises an additional corresponding function key, and inputs vehicle number to search and makes a call automatically by giving a dangerous vehicle search virtual number if the corresponding function key is pushed. A dangerous vehicle search server(100) detects a dangerous vehicle number from the dangerous vehicle search number received from the mobile communication terminal, and inquires vehicle information from the detected vehicle number, and transmits the inquiry result of the vehicle information(200) to the mobile communication terminal. And a dangerous vehicle search data base stores vehicle information of taxis registered in a national taxi union and vehicle information of stolen vehicles and wanted vehicles, and provides vehicle information of a corresponding vehicle number according to the vehicle information inquiry.
