PURPOSE: A dechannelization method in a WCDMA system is provided to reduce the complexity of operation by using an FHT(Fast Hadamard Transform) algorithm in restoring the data multiplexed by OVSF codes. CONSTITUTION: A WCDMA system detects OVSF codes used for channelization codes(SP1). The WCDMA system matches the detected OVSF codes with a series of rows of a Hadamard matrix(SP2). The WCDMA system decodes a signal, multiplexed by the OVSF codes, using an FHT algorithm(SP3). The WCDMA system maps the decoded signal in order to match the OVSF codes with the sequence of the Hadamard matrix and obtains a dechannelization signal(SP4).
