PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated thin film element of p-n junction type having a high stability, less defects, and sufficient tight attachment, and a method of manufacturing the element. SOLUTION: The laminated thin film element is formed from two adjoining layers, one containing a first compound having a polymerizable functional group or a reactive functional group and the other containing a second compound having a polymerizable functional group or a reactive functional group.
