SOLUTION: Electronic equipment is provided with a speaker 19 for emitting sound at the time of operating the power source supply of a main body, performing a prescribed operation and switching setting, a manner mode switching part 31 provided independently of an operation of a power source switch for operating power feeding of the main body and for switching sound output acceptance and rejection of the speaker, and a sound emission inhibiting means for inhibiting sound emission by a preset operation.
