PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter which makes it possible to fix a battery without using an exclusive holder while using a free space effectively, and realizes cost reduction and improvement of fixing work efficiency of the battery. SOLUTION: A substrate protective cover 41 is disposed on a back side of a circuit board 31 for mounting electronic components. The substrate protective cover 41 is provided with a battery fixing part 41c for fixing the battery 15 which supplies power to the electronic components to the substrate protective cover 41 it self, on the back side of the cover.
