PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of radiating heat of heat medium and realizing hot air heating and radiation heating by forced convection and having two front and rear plates 10, 11 and a heat exchanger 12. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is composed of two plates in which heat medium flows, a vertical slide part 13 in which a fixed plate 10 on a front side faces an indoor side and a movable plate 11 moves vertically, the heat exchanger 12 provided in an air feeding passage 14, a blow-out port 17 provided in a lower part 15 of a case body, an air feeding means 16, and a louver 18. When the air sucked from a suction port 20 by the air feeding means 16 passes through the heat exchanger 12 in the air feeding passage 14, forced convection heat exchange is performed from heat medium, radiation energy is generated from the fixed plate 10 facing the indoor side, and the movable plate 11 is slid and large radiation is generated as required to realize comfortable hot air radiation heating.
