PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch capable of securely reducing drag torque of interval holding slide members between an inner ring and an outer ring in an end bearing, a bearing support or the like, and improving transmission efficiency when used in an automatic transmission or the like. SOLUTION: In this one-way clutch, the interval holding slide members 7a and 7b for holding diametric size of a circular space 3 where a sprag 4 is disposed to be constant in a circumferential direction are engaged between the inner ring 1 and the outer ring 2. Slide resistance of the interval holding slide members 7a and 7b to the outer ring 2 is set to be larger than their slide resistance to the inner ring 1. The interval holding slide members 7a and 7b are thus constantly moved with the outer ring 2 to relatively rotate to the inner ring 1 to slide. By thus constantly sliding the interval holding slide members 7a and 7b to the inner ring 1, drag torque is smaller due to slower circumferential speed than that in sliding them to the outer ring 2.
