PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance reduction gear having a highly reliable self lock function, having a simple structure, and enabling the miniaturization. SOLUTION: An input shaft 11 rotatably pivoted to a support body 2 is provided with an eccentric shaft part 11d, three pins 16 are provided at equal intervals on a same circumference using the eccentric shaft part 11d as the center in one side of an external teeth gear 14 rotatably fitted to the eccentric shaft part 11d, three round holes 10 to be fitted with the pins 16 so as to allow the eccentric motion of the external teeth gear 14 are provided on the same circumference using the input shaft 11 as the center in the inside surface of the support body 2 opposed to one side face of the external teeth gear 14, and the output member 17 being concentric to the input shaft 11 and rotatably pivoted to the support body 2 is provided with an internal teeth gear 24 having internal teeth slightly more than the number of the external teeth of the external teeth gear and geared with the external teeth gear 14.
