PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant which is easily dissolved in water or a solvent, forms a coating without the need of using a binder and is used, and demonstrates a deodorizing effect without the need of being irradiated with light (ultraviolet rays), and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A titanium borate based compound is used as an effective component and the deodorant is prepared. The titanium borate based compound is easily dissolved in a solvent such as water and alcohol and demonstrates the deodorizing effect even without being irradiated with the light (ultraviolet rays).
