PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fermentation temperature detecting and displaying device, improving work efficiency by displaying fermentation temperatures by each temperature band in different colors to easily know the fermentation temperature even in a dusky place, useful for grasping the fermentation state by knowing the highest temperature generated during the period of time from the preceding measurement to this time measurement in some structure, dispensing with a power supply and improving the convenience in use. SOLUTION: In the display device, a part 3 for detecting fermentation temperature is provided at the tip of a detecting bar 1 inserted in compost, and the fermentation temperature detected by the detecting part 3 is displayed on a temperature display part 2 provided on the other end of the detecting bar 1 through a heat pipe 5 as a temperature transmit means mounted on the detecting bar 1.
