The fixing system for attaching a glass panel (1) to an upright support (3) fastened by a bracket (4) to the outside wall of a building (2) consists of lugs (5) fastened individually to the lateral surfaces of the uprights. Each lug, held in place by a transverse locking screw (33) and at least one groove (55, 56) engaging with a rib (31, 32) to prevent it pivoting, is basically L-shaped with lengthwise and transverse branches. The lengthwise branch has a hole for the locking screw, while the grooves allow it to be fastened in two different positions.
