The coupling for connecting the end of a pipe (14) to a socket (12) in a housing (10) consists of a tip (18) of smaller diameter on the end of the pipe to fit in the socket, with a thrust shoulder (22) between the tip and the main part of the pipe, and at least two lugs (24) on the end of the tip to pass through slots in the socket and hold the pipe in place by rotating it through 90 degrees. The pipe tip and socket have stop surfaces (26, 40, 42) that limit the rotation of the pipe in both directions.
