A method of producing a flower pot that includes forming an upright pot wall consisting of plastic material and having truncated conical shape; forming a pot base consisting of plastic material and having generally circular shape, the base having a rim that projects downwardly; assembling the base to lowermost annular extent of the wall; and heat sealing the rim to the wall.
