<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom of setting associated with print processing in performing printing of a plurality of pages in a print system. <P>SOLUTION: This print system is provided with a print data generating means for generating print data including data describing the contents of a page group to be printed and a print setting accepting means for presenting a screen for accepting designation to divide the page group to be printed into one or more groups and a screen for accepting setting associated with print processing for each group. Further, this print system is provided with a printer host including information to define the groups and information about setting associated with the print processing for those groups in print data and a printer for performing print processing based on the setting about the print processing associated with the group according to the information to define the group included in the print data and the information about the setting associated with the print processing for the group and the information about the setting associated with the print processing to the group included in the print data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
