<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system equipped with a reformer, which can be started quickly. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a reformer 1 for generating hydrogen rich gas by reforming reaction using at least water among hydrocarbon fuel, water, and oxidizing gas, and a stack 2 for generating electricity from the hydrogen rich gas and the oxidizing gas. The fuel cell system is further provided with at least an LLC line 3 for circulating LLC for cooling the reformer 1, and a water separator 4 for separating water from the LLC in the LLC line 3. In starting the fuel cell system, water is separated from the LLC in the LLC line 3 and the separated water is used for the reforming reaction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
